Charmaine's Biography

Charmaine Augustin was born in Jamaica and moved to Boston Massachusetts, where she would spend the next fifteen years. She currently resides in Dacula, Georgia along with her husband of twelve years, and three children; Samuel, Jacob, and Nathaniel. After working as an Assistant Vice President in Banking and as a Marketing Director in Health and Wellness, she decided to find balance and re-evaluate her own life when she took time off to write her first book “Nine to Five or Something Like That—Finding Work Life Balance and Fulfillment for Women”.  She enjoys traveling, writing, throwing parties, baking, and spending quality time with family and friends. A former radio Talk Show Host, her vibrancy is still heard during her illustrious and effervescent talks and seminars as well as on Blog Talk Radio. She is a Life Coach, Author of the new bestseller "Pit Bulls in Lipstick", and a sought-after Motivational Speaker, who firmly believes in family values, women's empowerment, and education. An expert in her field she is also a writer for Self Growth Magazine and her own online monthly publication, Lifestyles and Trends Magazine. She dedicates her time to volunteering on the Literacy Committee of a local school. She also serves as School Council Chair, and is a member of the GEMS Oversight Committee as well as a Substitute Teacher. Her passion for education and her involvement in community development has landed her the role of Scholarship Chairperson for the City of Dacula, GA where she serves as a member of the Dacula Business Association. Charmaine is the Founder of LIFESTYLES AND TRENDS LLC and has been in business since 2003.
